Meet Lamar

Seven-year-old Lamar has already faced more than most children ever should. She was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor and has undergone intensive chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple treatments, including traveling overseas for specialized care. After her cancer relapsed, Lamar returned home and began palliative chemotherapy—continuing her fight with incredible strength.

Through it all, Lamar has remained a bright, joyful presence. She loves arts and crafts, coloring, and spending time with her family—finding happiness in the simple, meaningful moments.

Recognizing that Lamar and her family needed time together, they were given the opportunity to step away from treatments and into something truly magical.

And for Lamar, it was a dream come true.

A huge fan of Elsa, Lamar was completely in awe from the moment the magic began. Every detail—from the music to the characters—felt like stepping into her own fairy tale. She lit up with excitement, soaking in every moment and embracing the magic with the same creativity and wonder she brings to everything she loves.

Beyond the experience itself, the trip gave Lamar and her family something even more meaningful: time together. Time to laugh, explore, and create memories that go far beyond hospital walls.

In those moments, Lamar wasn’t a patient—she was just a little girl, living in the magic.

Pretzel Wishes is honored to help create moments like these for families facing unimaginable challenges. Lamar’s joy, strength, and spirit are something truly special—and her story is one we’ll never forget.
